STEP 1
Download and print the provided template on our website (www.kookye.com/?p=5201). For this project, we’ll be using the Halloween House template.

STEP 2
Track and cut out the big circular shape on a piece of blue felt and Halloween House template shape on a piece of black felt. Make sure to cut a hole above the LED so it is not covered.

STEP 3
Look at your design to identify the outlines where each component is placed. Line up the positive and negative symbols on your components with their matching outline on the felt. Then use a little dab of glue on the back of the pieces to adhere to the felt.

STEP 4
Prepare a long piece of conductive thread, begin at the negative tab(-) on the LED A, and continue stitching to connect t the negative tab(-) of the others lilypad LEDs(LED B,C,D), ending at t the negative tab(-) of the LilyPad battery holder.
Make sure to loop three to four times on each connection. Tie and cut.

STEP 5
With a new long piece of thread, begin at the positive tab (+) on the LED A, and continue stitching to connect the the positive tab (+) of the others lilypad LEDs(LED B,C,D), ending at the positive tab (+) of the LilyPad battery holder.Tie and cut.
After all the stitching is complete, turn the project over, and trim any loose thread tails before testing.

STEP 6
Cut out 5pieces of semicircle shape on yellow felt to decorate the window and door, make sure the semicircle shapes are bigger than the holes so it is easy to sew on black felt.

STEP 7
Cut out moon and some stars shape on the yellow felt to decorate the blue sky, then sew the halloween house on blue felt to cover the components. Make sure the position of window and door to cover the LEDs.

STEP 8
If you want to wash the tota bag, you could use the male snap fasten to sew the white felt,then sew the two felt into one.

We recommend using black pen to mark the position of snap fastener on tote bag and white felt.

STEP 9
Correspondingly sew the female snap fasten on tote bag with cotton thread.

STEP 10
Insert LED soft strip between blue felt and tota bag and wind around the snap fastener circularly. Connect battery box with the end of LED strip.

STEP11
If everything looks okay, insert the AAA batteries into the battery box and turn the switch to the ON position. Your design should start twinkling.
